Activated Sludge Process

Conventional: In this process is down with the help of suspended bacteria present in the aeration tank. For survival of bacteria air is blown through air blower.

Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR):

Process improve reliability, simplify operation, and require less space than conventional wastewater treatment system MBBR technology employs of biofilm carriers operating in mixed motion within an aerated wastewater treatment tank. This media increase surface area to support the growth of bacteria. It is high – density population of bacteria that achieves high – rate biodegradation within the system, while also offering process reliability and ease of operation.

This technology provides cost-effective treatment with minimum maintenance since MBBR process self – maintain an optimum level of productive biofilm. Additionally, the biofilm attached to the mobile biocarriers within the system automatically responds to load fluctuations.

Moving Bed Reactor (MBR):

These systems offer several operational and economic advantages compared to conventional wastewater treatment plants. Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultra filtration with a suspended growthbiorector. MBR is based on biological treatment followed by membrane separation, system comprising of an intense activated sludge process with the biomass separation stage carried out by membrane cassettes located outside the aeration tank in separate membrane tank. It allows very high biomass MLSS conc.

Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) : SBR is a SEQUENTAL BATCH REACTOR process. It provides highest treatment efficiency possible in a single step biological process.

SBR- System is operated in a batch reactor mode which eliminates all the inefficiencies of the continuous process. A batch reactor is a perfect reactor, which ensures 100 % treatment. Two modules are provided to ensure continuous treatment. The complete process takes place in a single reactor, within which all biological treatment steps take place sequentially. No additional settling unit / secondary clarifier is required! The complete biological operation is divided into cycles. Each cycle is of 3 – 5 duration,

  1. Fill Phase
  2. Aeration Phase
  3. Settlement Phase
  4. Decanting Phase
