Environmental Statement
The Ministry of Environment and Forests, vide its notification dated 13th March 1992, directed all industries that need to have consent under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, and Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008, to file an Environmental Statement every year.
Our Environmental Statement Services
An **Environmental Statement (Form V)** should be filed by all industries before September 30th of every year. The aim for the preparation of this statement is to:
- Assess and continuously improve upon the consumption figures of raw materials and/or utilities per ton or kg of production, thereby reducing the generation of pollutants and/or effluent and affecting resource conservation.
- Continuously make improvements in pollution abatement and Effluent Treatment facilities for a better environment and better living conditions.
- Maintain compliance with the prevailing environmental laws and regulations and to control environmental hazards.
The Environmental Statement (Form V) includes details about:
- Industry's general information
- Water and Raw Material Consumption
- Pollution discharge to Environment/Unit of output
- Hazardous Waste details
- Solid Waste details
- Disposal Practices of solid & Hazardous Waste
- Impact of the pollution control measures on the conservation of natural resources and consequently on the cost of production
- Additional measures/investment proposals for environmental protection, including abatement of pollution and prevention of pollution
Treatability Study Report
Excellent Enviro also provides Treatability Study Reports, which include:
- Technical discussions regarding the effluent load and characteristics, biodegradability, and treatability.
- Studying and characterizing all streams/samples and detailing any scope for the segregation of pollution streams if possible.
- Carrying out treatability studies and optimizing operating parameters and dosing chemicals.
- Preparation of various composite samples, if required, depending upon the tentative production pattern and carrying out treatability studies on the composite sample determined by pollution load characteristics.
- Detailing a feasible scheme of treatment and submitting it in the form of a feasibility report with the treatment process, scheme, and budgetary estimates. The maximum use of existing units and equipment will definitely be considered.
Excellent Enviro has developed a fully-fledged in-house laboratory to support these services.
